Temp Signage Rules To Be Relaxed

More signage news from in and around the world from Hants and Dorset Signs as in Pittsburgh. Peters Township business owners told the township's council that a proposed zoning ordinance expanding the number of permits allowed for temporary signs does not go far enough. Council held a public hearing on a proposed ordinance change that would expand the number of permits a business could get in one year for a temporary sign.

Ed Zuk, township planning director, said the ordinance would expand from four per year to six per year the number of permits allowed for one business. But he said it would decrease the number of days for each permit from 14 days to 10 days. He said this would be a net addition of four more days in a year that a business could make use of temporary signs.
