Nick Bacon, general manager of the company referred to as TODS, said concerns about sign conditions and construction previously voiced by some county councillors have now been addressed.
The company has put up about 45 signs throughout the county and about 13,000 throughout Ontario.
Otonabee-South Monaghan Township Reeve Dave Nelson said there are signs on County Rd. 2 that were damaged and never repaired.
About a year ago, the county urged the province to drop TODS as the provincial provider of tourism signs because of the shoddy condition of signs and lengthy waits to get signs erected.
Unsatisfied with the level of service from TODS, Nelson asked if there was any way the county could get out of the contract if that level of service continued.
